I'm so sorry that this one didn't go down well with us.. the kids took one lick and handed it back, DH and I finished ours but had to admit that it just wouldn't be a favourite any time soon. Personal taste is everything and obviously from the reviews so far that is the case here. I followed the recipe to the letter except for the walnuts which I know the rest of the family like less. The smell as the spices, apricots etc were brewing was devine.. sadly I think that flavour and texture of the finished product just didn't suit us and well, trying to sneak the apricots past the kids on this occasion failed. It saddens me to have to give 2 stars but I feel that I also need to be honest . This is a very easy to make recipe, and obviously it suits some people more than others, please don't let my review put you off, maybe for you this is indeed a 5 star recipes. All in all, it was worth a try... Thanks!

Very nice recipe Pat and easy also. DH liked it although he is not a fan of yogurt or apricots he still liked it.
I followed the recipe exactly and it was so easy to follow, it was very creamy although it is very soft when it sets.
DH loved the crunch of the walnuts, although next time I might change the fruit and yogurt flavour, which could be done quite easily for anyone who does not like apricots!
This is a great recipe if you like yogurt ice cream, the creaminess is wonderful.
Thanks Pat a great alernative to ice cream for diabetics ! :-)

I went to make a full batch of this but only noticed at the last minute I was almost out of yoghurt so made half. I decided to make ice-pops out of this for toddler DD but found that the mixture doesn't harden enough for them to stay on the stick so there went that idea. This makes a really nice frozen yoghurt & I added the leftover apricot mix to porridge. A great way to use some some leftover dried fruit. Thanks Chef Potts!

This recipe is outstanding!
I used strawberry flavored yogurt, but I think next time I will use peach flavored for a yummy creamsicle taste. For the mixed spice I used instant hot apple cider drink mix (powdered).
The flavor of this delectable treat is so light and refreshing! The walnuts are spectacular with this yogurt 'icee', in texture and taste! The flavor is so intense that you'd think you were eating something fattening.
The layering of yogurt/walnuts is a great effect, it adds crunch on the inside and throughout the mold. All the wonderful bites of this treat had apricot, walnut, and orange zest in it.
If you are craving ice cream, or a creamsicle, or just a frozen treat, this is IT! Thank you so much for posting this recipe Pat, for diabetics or not! :)
