This makes a nice and tasty burger. The carrot was shredded and I liked that addition. A way to hide veggies in burgers is also great. The seasoning are similar to those I have used in the past. They were topped with Provolone Cheese and garnished with lettuce, red onion slices and jalapeno peppers. Made for Aussie Swap.

Peter this is similar to one in which I have made before and liked that as well. I like the addition of the Worstechire sauce and wow does it add flavor. Instead of dicing the carrots I shredded them so they would mix with the beef easier and hide from others (LOL) Wonderful, juicy, and delicious. Served on fresh baked rolls and with strips of bacon, lettuce, tomatoe, horseradish mustard as condiments. Delicioso! Made for AUSSIE/NZ Swap Aug2011

Three out of three I am impressed!!! I say this as I made three of Peter J's recipe for a BBQ today and all were good. I served these along with Cheese and Onion Stuffed Sausages and Poppy Seed Salmon Kebabs / Skewers and this one was a last minute decision as I was going to prepare the fish different and it was wonderful. A great tasting burger that is quick to make and tastes great. You will see from my photo they were not small burgers and my son got through 2. I served them on lettuce and sliced beetroot and topped with mushrooms. The only thing I did change was to add some chopped fresh herbs apart from that made as is. Thanks Peter J for an outstanding BBQ!!!!!

I prepared these for Hubby (DH) and Little Miss (DD) this afternoon. I made them up into the burger size then covered with cling wrap until Hubby was ready to cook them on the BBQ. He said the favour was very nice and Little Miss really enjoyed them and ate two servings which is more than she usually eats. Thank you Peter J

I chose this as one of my recipes for the recipe swap #2, and I have to agree that these ingredients do put all the flavor in the burger. My husband is a big burger fan so I made this just for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed these. The only changes I made was to add 2 TBLS. worcestershire sauce. I have no desire to stand at the barbecue in snowy weather so I broiled these and added 1 tsp. liquid smoke to make up for not barbecuing.I will definetly be making these again. Thanks for sharing this Peter.
