Made these for a party and they disappeared within 35 minutes. Very, very nice.

Yummy! I made these for a Christmas function and part of a few Christmas gifts. They were so easy to make and I like the fact there was no cooking involved perfect for our hot weather. I didn't add the optional raisins and used a splash of rum essence because children may also eat them. I made half with desiccated coconut and the other half with chocolate sprinkles, so it was very pretty on the plate. Hubby pinched a lot of them even before the function. He really liked them and everyone was trying to work out the recipe. :D Thank you for posting darang61

really great recipe!!! was very sticky, but did roll in to balls quite nicely despite this... i'd suggest grinding up the weet bix really well so they don't end up to chunky, and it will hold a bit better too!! and DON'T omit the raisins- it maketh the rum ball!

Yeah! These are the ones I made as a kid. It was a bit messy but all the better to lick your fingers, he he. The raisins really make it and Bundy rum is the way to go!
