Sorry to give such a low rating, but these were horrible. Followed the recipe to the letter and they were just bad. Threw them out.

This is awesome! Had the neighbors over for a small cocktail party and everyone went wild. Will definitely make these again and I agree with Sydney Mike that these would also go very well in a salad. Nice job, Bluemoon Downunder!

These are good BM. I didn't think the spices came thru real strongly and I didn't get any hint of maple syrup. My nuts were salted and so I omitted the sea salt, but other than that, followed your recipe exact using smoked paprika as stated. I think that's what I taste the most. I just noticed I forgot to add the chlli powder. This could be why I"m not tasting much spiciness. My bad, but these still get 4 stars. Thanks!~ Made for 123Hits..

The family was gathered today and the overall vote was 4 stars. This was very easy to prepare and we enjoyed the flavor. These were very nice to munch on while waiting for the rest of the meal to cook. I made as posted. There was a nice kick to them. Thanks for posting. :)

These are just fabulous!! I used a mix of peanuts,almonds and cashews,just because that's what I had.I also had to use regular paprika (out of smoked),but I can imagine that using smoked would only make this recipe better!! The flavours in this mix are just great..I love the salty and sweet combination against the gentle heat of the chilli and the flavour of the garlic(although I may be tempted to add a dash more heat next time!). This recipe is an absolute doddle to throw together,making it a great one for unexpected company bearing a bottle of wine! We all loved this...children included...an absolutely wonderful recipe,that I shall be keeping and making over and over again. Made for Newest ZaarTag.
