- 226.79 g fresh mushrooms
- 29.58 ml butter
- 14.79 ml oil
- 118.29 118.29 ml cheddar cheese or 118.29 ml cheshire cheese, freshly grated
- 680.38 g fillets of sole (or any white fish)
- 1.23 ml salt
- 1.23 ml pepper
- 59.16 ml green peppers, chopped
- 88.74 ml white wine
- 29.58 ml lemon juice, fresh
- 14.79 ml parsley, chopped
directions
- Melt butter in skillet over low heat. Add mushrooms and saute over medium heat until tender.
- Rub oil over shallow 4 quart baking dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Place fish on cheese.
- Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Add green pepper and top with mushrooms.
- Pour wine over fillets.
- Bake at 450F for 20 minutes or until fish flakes.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and parsley.
