Bread rolls native to Australia though they sound more like a cake to me.

I always enjoy making recipes like this ~ Don't know exactly what to expect, but hope for the best ~ & most often they are very nice! These thingies are just unusual enough for me to serve at one of the monthly groups I host (this evening) & I'm sure they'll be a hit ~ They certainly are with the 2 of us! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in the ZINGO part of ZWT5]

Yummy! This tastes and has a texture somewhere between an oatmeal cookie and a granola bar. I did not knead it on a floured surface but instead kneaded it in the bowl. The dough was very crumbly and the kneading involved more of working the wet ingredients into the dry until they stuck together enough to be formed into the pan. I baked it in a greased pie pan for the full time indicated and cut it into wedges. Thanks Mand1642 for a nice treat! Made for ZWT5.
