Make and share this Australian Shrimp on the Barbie recipe from Food.com.
- Combine first 8 ingredients in large bowl. Mix in shrimp. Marinate at room temperature 1 hour or in the refrigerator 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Prepare barbecue with medium hot coals. Thread shrimp on narrow skewers. Grill until just opaque, about 2 minutes per side.
- Line platter with spinach. Arrange skewers on platter. Garnish with lemon and serve.
These shrimp were a HUGE hit! I served 5 pounds of them for 15 people, and they were gone in a flash. I highly recommend this recipe to anyone. Thank you for sharing.
We had this for dinner the other night. Stellar shrimp. We were so full afterwards because DH and I ate the whole thing by ourselves (of course, he ate more than I). Simple marinade to put together and I let the shrimp sit for just over an hour. This is going into our keepers for sure.
