Balsamic Mushrooms With Lime

"My DH loves anything with nuts added. Needless to say this salad went down very well! This is a very quick & easy dish to prepare and serve, great just as a salad type dish or with steamed rice as a side dish."

  • Heat a wok or frypan over high heat. Add the walnuts & cook, stirring.
  • constantly, for 2-3 minutes or until hot. Remove & set aside.
  • Add the oil, garlic & chilli to the wok & stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add.
  • the mushrooms & stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the mushrooms.
  • are just tender.
  • Combine the balsamic vinegar & brown sugar together & add to the mushrooms, stir-fry 30 seconds or until well coated.
  • Remove wok from the heat, stir in the walnuts & lime juice.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve with on its own or with steamed jasmine rice.
