Cheese Rolls Ups by June

"These freeze really well and I remember as a teenager coming home from late shift at work and heating these up as a late night snack. We always used Maggi onion soup mix. I haven't allowed for extra cheese for sprinkling on top in ingredient list. You can take the crusts off the bread if you wish, we never did."

  1. My father in law works for Sunblest so I often have an abundance of bread. I made these & froze them for toddler DD's birthday party, great simple recipe that we all enjoyed, toddler DD preferred eating the cooled filling straight out of the pot..(lol) These are best eaten straight from the oven. Thanks Jewelies!

  2. Jewelies this is such an easy recipe to put together. I followed the recipe exactly. They rolled up nicely and came out perfectly. I have them in the freezer but as yet not have not taken any out to heat, but the family will be chomping at the bit once they know they are there!

  3. Jewelies, I'd forgotten about these..they were a childhood party staple, adult party staple, picnic, get-together, Guy Fawkes night..any time staple. So many memories. Thankyou for sharing this, they're now going to be re-reated and become a new icon.
