Very yummy slightly addictive slice you would never guess that its made from weetbix recipe was given to my mum by a friend of hers
- preheat oven to 160c.
- lina a 20cm square slice tin.
- combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- press into tin HARD.
- bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
- mix all three ingredients
- pour over slice and allow to cool in tin.
5 stars plus plus !! Next time I will double the recipe as it is so wonderful.I had to use rice bubbles instead of weetbix but I don't think at the end of the day it altered the recipe much . I did not even get to ice it as I came home from work and more than half had been devoured by the children !!!
I've made this a couple times now. So quick, easy and delicious! So good I had to take it to my mothers to stop me from eating all of it. Loved by the whole family
Very quick and easy to make. Turns out I didn't have weetbix so subbed cornflakes which I crushed up a little. Only got to taste a sliver as I was giving away. Still seemed quite soft this morning after being in the fridge overnight, not sure if that is how it is meant to be or because of the cornflake substitution. Will try again with weetbix and re-review. Thanks for sharing.
