Great nuts - and so easy to prepare! I love how you can vary the intensity by the strength and type of chili powder used. Thanks for sharing!

Update 12/17/09: The nuts arrived home and were devoured instantly by both my mum and my dad. The comments were that these are super tasty, hot nuts, perfect for snacking and that I should sent things like this more often. :) A complete hit!!! 12/15/09 Alli, these nuts smell divine! I made them yesterday in order to send to my parents for a mid week surprise and if their wonderful smell is anything to go by, these will be a hit and definitely 5 stars+! The roasting process was easy and your time and temperature spot on. Even though I only had enough nuts for half the recipe, I used the full amount of chili powder, cause my parents like it hot. :) I will be back to assign stars once my parents have taste tested the macadamias. THANKS SO MUCH for sharing this amazing recipe with us! It will be a go-to for gifts and parties from now on! Made and reviewed for Everyday Is A Holiday Decembre 09.
