      (I assumed that the egg white was the "glue" to hold the seasoned breadcrumb mixture onto the bocconcini cheese) It did work well, messy job but was worth it. I made sure not to walk away from the fryer as these little babies brown up fast. I used Panko crumbs and added a pinch of garlic powder. (made and reviewed for NZ/AUS Recipe Swap #27, April '09)
