Chocolate Mallow Shakes

Chocolate and marshmallows making this a real kid pleaser found at the downunder data base.

• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 2

• 2 tablespoons pure cocoa
• 1⁄3; cup boiling water
• ¾ cup miniature marshmallow
• 3 cups milk
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
• marshmallow , to garnish

Directions:

1. Combine pure cocoa, water and marshmallows in a small bowl stir until dissolved.
2. Blend or process chocolate mixture with milk and icecream until thick and frothy. Serve with the extra mini marshmallows.

Giving it 4 stars only because I had to tweak it a bit to get it to a good milkshake consistency. The first time I made it, I followed the recipe exactly and although very tasty... was way to thin. The next time I cut the milk down to 1 cup and added an extra scoop of ice cream along with some crushed ice and got it a little thicker - not much - but better! Such an easy recipe to play with to suit your preferences and LOVE the marshmallow/cocoa flavings! Thanks!

Rita--these were soooo good!!I followed another reviewers suggestion and used half cocoa and half instant coffee and it was great! also used choc syrup and whipped cream in addition to the marshmallows for the garnish!:)Thank you!PeggyLynn

Delicious, kids and hubby liked this a lot. It was thinner than expected (I was thinking milkshake), so will add less milk next time. Thanks again Rita!
