Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe. I've loved French Onion Soup Mix as a meal-base or dip-base forever, but couldn't think of an alternative gluten-free alternative. You are clever!

Another wonderful replacement for a store bought mix. We use this all the time. Made for Aus/NZ swap.

This recipe saved the day. I wanted to make Cheesy Onion Potatoes but I had no onion soup mix. I was lucky to find this and loved it. It was so easy to make and I even like the flavor better than the packaged stuff. I am sure it is much healthier too. Thanks for sharing **Jubes**!

Made this as a trial run & was extremely pleased with the results, so went back & tripled the batch, just so I'd have a bit around for next time! When I first saw this recipe, the one nice thing I thought about it was that, if it turned out too salty, I could easily make adjustments another time, but, as given here, it's just great for my needs! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed for one of my groupmates in the AUs/NZ Recipe Swap #39]

I was making Crock Pot Pork Chops and Stuffing and used this recipe for the onion soup. This was easy to make and no one noticed any difference in taste. Will be using this more often.

It was great to finally find a sub for dry onion soup mix. I will definitely use this recipe a lot. Thanks Jubes for a great recipe!
