Made this without the garlic and added more honey - I didn't really measure -(this is such a fabulous recipe you don't have to) I had a heavy duty foil shet for each ear of corn then smeared each one with butter...sprinkled a little pepper on each then squeezed out a tablespoon or so of honey on each ear. Then rolled 'em up and let 'em go on the grill - not too high.... I don't know what happens to the honey because when they are done no one in the world would ever guess that there had been honey put on them... they are not sticky and the honey turns watery and then gets absorbed...great for corn that is not the sweetest. This recipe is drop dead fabulous !!! Next time I will plan on cooking extra to cut off the cob and use in a salad for the next day. YUM

I forgot to rate this recipe for ZWT, but I am now. :) I had to cook in the oven, but other than that made as prescribed. I thought the taste of garlic came through stronger than expected. I like garlic, but I thought this would be more of a sweet dish. It did give me an idea to just boil corn like I usually do and then slather it with honey butter. I think it would be really good.

This was really good corn!! My sauce was a bit thicker then the pictures of the corn you have on the recipe. The garlic and black pepper was easily seen. I loved the sweet honey coupled with the spice of the pepper and added some kosher salt for some salty contrast. Thanks Peter! *Zaar World Tour 3*

Very good and easy to prepare. I did add a bit of salt, otherwise no changes. Note to self: remember to turn the corn! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This was first attempt at grilling corn! It came out very nice - the family really liked it for our first corn of the cob of the season. However they are very spoiled by fresh roadside stand corn which we get later in mid-July so they gave this a 4 star. Mostly due to the freshness of the corn rather than the recipe I think. ZWT 3

This is really good and really easy! I've made it twice now and the first time was made with fresh corn that just wasn't good. I had faith, though, and tried it once more with a better batch of fresh corn. Delicious! A keeper and a different, salty, sweet thing to do with fresh cob corn. Thanks!

Simply scrumptious! I did add salt as one other reviewer had suggested. I wouldn't change anything else though. We thought it was perfect and super easy to make. Thanks Peter for a great recipe!

This was very good. I was worried that it would be a strong garlic flavor but it wasn't. Loved the sweetness the honey added. It was just right on every note. Made for ZWT3 by a Floozie!

What a wonderful way to do corn! We doubled everything. At the last minute we realised we were out of BBQ gas, so baked it in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Everyone commented on how tender the corn was. Our French exchange student spread the little bit of leftover butter on bread, and that was divine, too. I know because we fought over the last bite. I reckon the butter would be good for garlic bread, so you might want to post a separate recipe for that purpose. Thanks Peter for a keeper. Totally enjoyed for Zaar World Tour.

Very nice! I loved it! I thought it needed some salt so I added it which just put it over the top. The combo of savory and sweet was so good with the corn! Excellent!

I made this for *Zaar World Tour III* Purchased some fresh organic corn and used this recipe to jazz it up a little. It was lovely, the honey gave it a little sweetness, the garlic and pepper gave it a little flavour and the butter made it taste so good. Simple dish without comprising the corn flavours. Thank you Peter J

This was a very enjoyable side to our BBQ sandwiches tonight. The slightly sweet garlic butter really made the dish. Thanks Peter for sharing your recipe! Reviewed for the World Tour 3.

This corn was so easy and soooo good. I basically made it as stated, only I couldn't use our grill, so I ended up "roasting" the foil wrapped corn in the oven at 400 until done. I expected the honey flavor to be strong, as I could really smell it when I was making the corn, but it was much more subtle and oh so good. Mr. Picky ds announced, "This is the best corn I've ever had!". Sure to be a regular at our summer BBQs. Thanks PeterJ

Georgous georgous georgous! I did cheat a little because I was only making this for me, and I microwaved the corn in clingfilm as the oven was busy with a pasta dish for DH. I had the butter semi solidified from the fridge and it looked so photogenic but the camera batteries ran out and the heat of the corn melted it all while I was setting in a new set of charged batteries. DARN ! The taste more than made up for the lost photo opportunity. WONDERFUL. I got a little excited at finially seeing some half decent fresh sweetcorn here so bought a heap that now needs using fast and would be really happy to eat this every day. The garlic and honey compliment the butter perfectly. Please see my rating system: easy to make, quick to prepare and tastes absolutely fabulous! Thanks!!!

Peter, What a great way to make corn, this was so delcious! We ran out of gas for the barbie, so I just finsihed it in the oven, and it was just so very good !! This is such a great way with corn, and I dont think I will cook corn any other way from now on, the honey/garlic taste blended well together and made the corn taste so great. I must admit to adding a little butter to mine before serving, but I am a butter on corn freak. Well done on such a terrific recipe. (Which can also be cooked in the oven as well!!!!) This is added to my list of favourites.
