We enjoyed these mashed potatoes very much. They were easy to prepare and they had great flavor. I used a sauvignon blanc for the white wine and cremini mushrooms. I also used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I would definitely make this recipe again. I served it as a side to Mustard-Rubbed Pork Loin With Blackberry Mustard Sauce 373834. Thanks for posting! Made for ZWT5.

Great mashed potatoes! I made these as directed except a smaller portion. Very nice texture and flavor. Thanks bluemoon downunder for a new treat sensation. Will definitely make again. Made for ZWT5 2009 Family Picks.

What lovely potatoes! I made these as directed, except had to use dried thyme instead of fresh. The results were great, enjoyed by all. Will definitely make thiese again. Made for ZWT5 by a Hell's Kitchen Angel.

Very nice change from plain mashed potatoes. The clerk at the grocery store forgot to put my mushrooms in the bag, so I ended up using some reconstituted dried mushrooms ( a mix of 3 or 4 kinds) and that worked fine. Loved all of the subtle flavors in this dish, and it didn't need gravy :) Made for Spring 2009 PAC.

I had one leek and a couple of potatoes just waiting to be used and picked this recipe to use them and I am glad I did! These went great with a couple of steaks! Thanks for sharing!
