I'm not really a big red wine drinker but can handle it when mixed like this. One for my fellow cooler Queen chef #296809.
- Build ingredients over ice and top with soda.
This was deliciously fizzy, tart, and sweet. I really enjoyed it. One thing I would do differently next time is NOT use a shiraz for the red wine. My mistake; it was too spicy.
This was the 1st *pressie* I chose for the Dec Aussie/NZ Recipe Swap after seeing your reference to *cooler Queen twissis* in the intro. I literally had to talk DH out of the red wine for it, esp since he knows I do not favour red wine. *Mr Wine Purist* cringed as I made it using his Aretey Coupage Seleccion Reserve from Catalonia, Spain for the red wine, my Guntrum Riesling from Germany for the white wine & Sprite Zero as a sub for the soda water. Then he mumbled something in Icelandic that I am glad I could not understand for a half hr after that. Thx for sharing this tasty & very cool cooler w/me, but I am in seriously big trouble now & it is all your fault! I cannot get enough of these coolers or find that d**n 10 * button! *Hic* ! :-)
