This is wonderful and so easy to make. I didnt find a french baguette at the store so I used ciabatta bread that had pieces of garlic baked in. DH does not care for onions so I left the green onions out and used a parmesan blend shredded cheese. Put the bread on a cookie sheet and baked in a 400 degree oven untl the cheese melted. The bread was crisp and the cheese melted nicely. Will make this again and try different cheeses. Thank you Jewelies for posting this recipe. Made and reviewed for the Australian/NewZealand Forums Recipe Swap #26.

I made this with ham (but definately want to make it again with salami - think it would have a better zing factor). I used 50g of shaved Adelphi, 2 green onions and 60 grams of butter over a small french stick and 3/4 cup of grated tasty cheese. Put it under the grill in the 2 halves only to have 1 half roll on its side a badly burn. Salvaged it and enjoyed. Thank you Jewelies for something different from the normal garlic bread to have with our lasagne. Made for 123 Hit Wonders Tag Game.
