  • Melt Margarine and Golden Syrup over low heat or in the microwave.
  • Mix Bicarb Soda with water and add to margarine and syrup mix.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix margarine and syrup through.
  • Place small balls onto lightly greased trays and flatten slightly.
  • Bake 150 deg celcius for 15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool on trays.

  1. Mmmm! This has to be from a fellow Aussie. An ANZAC biscuits with sesame seeds - just in time for ANZAC Day. Had to add a little extra butter to make them bind better to roll them. Great twist on an old favourite.

  3. 5 big stars for flavour - wonderful sesame flavour. I agree, these are like Anzacs but with a twist. I also had to add another tablespoon of butter and some water to make the mix come together. Just needed longer in the oven is all..Thanks for the recipe, it's a beauty!
     
  4. Very easy to make and had good flavor. They were a little on the dry side, nothing a little more butter wouldn't solve. I only give it a 3 because they were more like cookies and the recipe says biscuits
