Okay, you can't get any easier than this for a quick dinner, this is ready in no time & was a winner with both hubby & toddler DD. From recipes+.
- 18 prepared meatballs, I usually use frozen
- 420 g condensed tomato soup
- 1⁄4 cup sour cream
- chopped parsley (to garnish)
- Heat meatballs as directed on pkt.
- Place soup & sour cream in a pan and whisk to combine, add meatballs and cook over a moderate heat until meatballs are heated through.
- Sprinkle with parsley to serve.
These were very nice and easy to prepare. I chose this for my daughter who loves meatball appies and also meatloaf. The flavor of these is very straightforward, with the flavor of classic meatloaf with a tomato sauce on top. I am sure this will be a BIG HIT for anyone who enjoys comfort food without being too adventurous. Thanks for sharing! ~Sue
This was soo great! I thought it would be blah with so few ingredients, but my husband and I both loved it! We both thought the sauce tasted kinda like sauce from Spaghetti-o's. The only difference is that my can of tomato soup was smaller than 420 g. It was still great! Thanks so much for posting this wonderfully simple recipe. This will be a "go to" recipe when I don't feel like cooking and want something fast!
These are really good. I couldn't help myself but add some fresh basil out of my garden. Used some homemade, precooked, frozen chicken and turkey meatballs that I had on hand and added slightly more sour cream as I couldn't be bothered saving the tiny bit that was left. Served with Desert Sour Cream Potatoes for an excellent, quick Saturday night dinner.
