ingredients
- 100 g lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1⁄8 cup onion, finely sliced
- 1⁄8 cup carrot, finely grated
- 1⁄2 egg, slightly beaten
- 1⁄4 teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1⁄2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
- 1⁄2 tablespoon tomato paste
directions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- If time permits chill in the fridge for an hour or so.
- Shape mixture into a loaf.
- Place in an oven proof container and cover.
- Cook for 25min at 180-200 deg C.
- Removed from oven and top with tomato sauce (can mix 1 tbsp of brown sugar if you have a sweet tooth).
- Return to oven for 15-20 more minutes or until cooked.
- Let the loaf sit for a couple of minutes before cutting or serving.
