      I only made the potatoes, but they were OUTSTANDING. Great mix of flavors. I used pre-cooked bacon pieces which made the dish come together in a flash. THANKS. Made for MAKE MY RECIPE.

      This was super !!!! I didn't have bacon,so, used Jamon instead. It worked very well. Served with steak garnished with fried sliced mushrooms and a cream and soy sauce salsa. I'll be cooking this again. Thanks for the recipe Pat.

      Made as directed except for the chives....I used spring onions. The steak I pan fried 2 mins each side then put pan in oven at 425'C for 8mins (med rare) then allowed to rest 2mins while dishing up salad. Served with a simple salad of cos lettuce & tomato wedges. A keeper for us. Made for Aus/NZ swap March 2009 :)

      This was lovely, a different way to enjoy potatoes! I didn't make the steak, but prepared the potatoes to accompany pies and vegetables for a midweek supper. I didn't have chives, so fried an onion along with the bacon mixture, we like onions! I also doubled the sauce ingredients, since we enjoy a lot of sauce. Very easy to do, we'll definitely be having this more often! I had just a little leftover, which I had for lunch today, delicious! Thanks, Pat!

      This looks like quite a complicated recipe until you (I) stop and realise it's just a warm potato salad that is great served with a steak. I had no chives so used spring (green) onions and I used rib eye cooked to suit us. I would do away with the directions to cook the steak and "sell" this as a GREAT warm potato salad.

      This is really tasty and good. I steamed my potatoes instead of boiling and used beef strips which I had marinated instead of steak. In step 10 I mixed all the sauce ingredients together and once combined then added the sauce to the potatoes. To top it all off I sprinkled some green onions over the top. The bacon is fabulous in this. Will definitely be making potatoes this way again soon. Thanks Pat.

      Sensational -- wish I could give it 10 stars. I was feeding six, so upped the meat and potatoes accordingly. We love sauce, so I tripled the bacon and sour cream mixture. This was so easy to make and so delicious. I forgot the garlic, but that didn't matter one bit. The exchange students want it again soon. Me, too! Really divine.
