Delicious steamed pud recipe. I used raisins and a stainless pudding steamer that has been collecting dust for months. It was ready in an hour and a quarter, and tastes divine, the golden syrup gives it a lovely caramel flavour. Served it with French Vanilla ice cream and a little cream. Great Winter pud!

Thank you for this recipe! My family were delighted when I put this in front of them yesterday. I am now under orders to make it again tonight!!! It really is a fantastic winter pudding but could't wait that long to make it so it will have to be a summer pudding too.
