Great technique! You should try this. I'll even throw in a free potato peeler and parer and wait, if you respond in the next 10 seconds, you'll get a second set free! Made for A-NZ #51 recipe tag.

What a nice side. The yummy candied glaze on these sweet potatoes makes them almost a dessert. As a rule I like my sweet potatoes made with savory seasonings. So tagged this recipe for DH who likes his sweet potatoes sweet. Thus I was surprised by how much I did liked this recipe. Made as written cutting down to two servings. Thanks for the post.

I would have never used this method if I hadn't stumbled across this recipe, these were about the quickest sweet potatoes I have ever made and we really liked the sweet, but not overly sweet, flavour. Watch them closely in the frying pan and moderate the heat, they go from 'just about ready' to 'nearly burnt' very quickly! Made during ZWT7 - thanks Jubes!

Ace, matie! I sauteed red onion before putting in the sweet potatoes. I also added 3/4 teaspoon of rosemary. Next time I will not pre cook the sweet potato instead just do a raw fry approach. Served with Melt in Your Mouth Lemon Chicken, Recipe#166409, and Light Pineapple Mousse. Thanks **Jubes** for sharing. Made during ZWT5 for the Chow Hounds.

Ok, maybe I'm a bit weird but I LOVE sweet potatoes. I've been eating them for a week straight and I happen to really like this recipe. I used my last 3 baby sweet potatoes (that's how they sell them at Trader Joe's.) I love the little zing of salt to counteract the sweetness of the sugar (I used honey.) Made for ZWT 5.

Yum, simple and wonderful side dish! I made these last night and we all really enjoyed it. Used it as a side dish with lamb chops for hubby & Little Miss (DD) and chicken kebabs for me. We all enjoyed the sweet potato, I kept to the recipe, didn't change a thing. Thank you **Jubes**

This makes a lovely side dish and tarts up veggies nicely for a dinner party! I used brown sugar for a more caramelised flavour and I added some carrots because I didn't have enough sweet potato on hand. A sprinkle of nutmeg is very nice, too. Thanks for a keeper!
