These got the big thumbs up from the DS's recreation group today. I used an alligator biscuit/cookie cutter which is part of a wild animal set that the DD gave me for mothers day and got 27 of the little critters. I iced some with melted chocolate and left the others plain, all thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Chef floWer, made for Edition 6 - Make My Recipe - a game of tag.
this was excellent the name had my son wanting to make them and eat them all i will do them again.. i did use blood oranges instead of normal ones it was great.. thanks
We really enjoyed these cookies. I especially like that there was coconut in the dough. The orange flavour really come through from the zest. Thank you so much for post. I will be making these again.
This is an outstanding delicious, wiggley orange treat!! First off, orange is my favorite anything, especially in a cake/biscuits/cookies etc. This filled the bill, and was so glorious, you just want to wiggle all over because they are so delightful. Had them with iced tea on back porch today, contemplative about life. Easy, peasy, to put together~and the orange/coconut mixture baking you could sniff from the outside. I followed this exactly, except for 3 small things. First, had to use grapefruit juice, (which turned out lovely) Secondly, put in my little heart shaped cupcake thingies, because I wanted them to look like chef floWers'. Thirdly, I used Enger-G egg replacer and vegetable margarine because of the vegan alternative. My son got to enjoy them, when stopping by. There is a pictorial demonstration of this adventure though, just to be shared with my fellow *Naughties* ~ because I can cook, (maybe?) but I am most definately not a baker. No matter, I had fun! Lovely, lovely, chef floWer~and DD (Little Miss) Made for *ZWT3 07*
