Decadence personified! Incidentally I reduced the recipe to make just 3 muffins as I had a little sour cream to use up, worked perfectly, however I had to extend the baking time to 25 minutes. These are lethal!!!

My 9th grade teacher gave us all this recipe at easter and I absolutely loved them then. 5 years later it is easter again and they've been all I can think about. SO glad I was able to find the recipe again.

Love this recipe. Have made it twice but wanted to know if the muffin is meant to come out quite crumbly or am I doing something wrong?

YUM! I loved the sound of this, but had no caramel sweets on hand, OR dark chocolate, so used Cadbury milk chocolate (not white) and then threw in plenty of choc buttons instead of the caramels. Also only used one lot of the cocoa, figured the 2nd mention was a misprint? Multiplied the mix by five...so glad I did. This is absolutely a keeper. I sell to coffee shops and just know this will sell like "hot cakes"! I appreciate the generosity of cooks who share their best.

Fabulous! Scrummy...decadent, extremely bad for you, and difficult to keep hold of when they're baked...everyone steals them ^_^ In the UK you need three packs of rolos, since there's an odd number of them in each pack and two packs falls short by one muffin-filling. Easily substituted with a hard-ish caramel, or something else like celebrations chocolates (every centre is different then!).
